Aaron began his career in the tax department of KPMG, where he worked with ultra-high net worth clients and corporations on complex tax matters. Earning his CPA designation in 2001, he spent four years at KPMG until joining his father, Bob Philpott, and his firm. Over the next several years, he contributed to the steady growth of the firm and built close relationships with some of the firm’s most high profile clients. Today, he continues to serve an increasingly diverse client roster at Philpott Meeks. As a trusted advisor to some of the biggest names in the business, Aaron prides himself on being a steward, first and foremost. He specializes in high-net worth individuals within the entertainment industry, including executives, producers, and entrepreneurs. He has been featured as one of the top 25 most powerful business managers in The Hollywood Reporter and Variety’s Business Manager’s Elite. Martin graduated from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He began his career at Price Waterhouse’s audit division, where he worked on several high-profile audit clients as well as certain fraud investigations, during which time he earned his CPA designation. During this time, he also attended Loyola Law School to further develop his skills. In 1997, Martin began working with Bob Philpott and his firm. There, he worked closely with their diverse client roster to grow the firm and became partner in 2002 to the firm now known as Philpott Meeks LLP. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the California Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is licensed to practice law in the state of California. Martin is married and has four children. Feldman is the Tax Partner of Philpott Meeks, and is responsible for providing tax, business management and financial consulting to high profile and high net worth clients in the entertainment industry. Brian graduated from Hofstra University in New York with an MBA in Accounting in 1989 after which he relocated to Los Angeles and joined Ernst & Young‘s Downtown Tax Practice. Upon passing the CPA exam he began pursuing a Masters of Business Taxation which he earned in 1994. Through his tenure at Ernst & Young he fast-tracked to Senior Tax Manager in 6 years as he gravitated toward the high net worth individual clientele of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneurial Services Group and eventually with their Business Management Group. In 1998 Brian joined the Beverly Hills business management firm of deBlois, Mejia & Company where he served as director of the tax services department. While there, he provided domestic and international tax consulting services for actors, writers, directors and producers as well as other high net worth individuals in the entertainment industry. In 1998 he was invited to join the planning committee of the California Society of CPA‘s Education Foundation‘s annual Entertainment Industry Conference where he has continued to serve having been the Conference‘s chair or co-chair on four of the annual events. Leaving deBlois Mejia & Company in 2004, Brian joined Bob Philpott and his firm as Senior Manager in charge of the Tax Department where he continued his career path of providing domestic and international tax consulting services for actors, writers, directors and producers as well as other high net worth individuals in the entertainment industry. Mark graduated from California State University, Northridge in 1997, where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration & Accounting. After graduation he joined the national accounting firm McGladrey & Pullen where he worked in the audit division and earned his CPA designation. Mark began his career in business management at Rigney/Friedman in 2000, and went on to join Bob Philpott and his team in 2002. After 12 years of working with the firm to provide unparalleled service and grow their client roster, Mark was named Partner in 2014.
